Aloguinsan is a 4th municipal class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines. Aloguinsan public market is held at the top of the beach. Aloguinsan was formerly a barrio of Pinamungajan. It was created a town by the Royal Decree of the Kingdom of Spain in 1886.
The project run by the Bojo Aloguinsan Ecotourism Association was funded by the local government unit which served as alternative sources of income for the community.
How to Get there:
There are several transport services from Cebu City to Aloguinsan, including a van for hire, rent-a-car, and bus, going to Toledo City. You can also bring your own transport and take the Toledo City or Carcar City routes. Travel time is around two hours.
From Cebu South Bus Terminal, you may hop on a yellow Sepo bus plying to Aloguinsan, tell the bus conductor to drop you off at Aloguinsan Public Market about for a 2-hour land travel. From Aloguinsan Public Market, ride a motorcycle to Bojo River about 10-minute ride.
From Cebu City South Bus Terminal, ride in a bus or van bound to Aloguinsan.
From Bacolod City/San Carlos City Negros Occidental
Ride in a bus bound to San Carlos City.
Roro/fast craft ride from San Carlos City to Toledo City, then;
From Toledo City (or if you are from this city)
Hire a multicab. Hire a habal─ habal that will directly bring you to the spot, or Ride in public utility jeepney bound to Aloguinsan.
From Aloguinsan Terminal - Hire a habal─ habal that will take you to the jump─ off point (less than 10 minutes travel).

Aloguinsan Eco─ cultural River Cruise is open from Mondays to Sundays, 8:00Am to 5:00PM. Better check and refer to a Chinese calendar (for low and high tide schedules) since river cruise is available only during high tide.
February to May is the best season for snorkeling.
