Text SSS – SSS SMS Inquiry
If you do not have an access to a landline to make a phone to any of SSS Hotline Numbers, you can now also get in contact with SSS using your mobile phone via texts.

Using Text SSS Service is not free— you will be charged Php2.50 for every SMS you send as part of the transaction.

SSS inquiry via SMS, simply text “SSS” (without the quotes) and send it to “2600.” Initially, you will be prompted to register your SSS Number with your mobile phone. Follow the following format to register:

This is done by sending a string of texts based on the format:

If done correctly, you should be getting a reply from the number “2600” which provides you instruction on how to proceed with the steps, relative to your concern. The instruction is relatively streamlined and easy-to-follow.

For instance, if you have a concern regarding your contribution, you can simply text “SSS 1” (“1” being an indicator for “Contributions”) or go for something more elaborate as “SSS Contributions” to 2600.

Every SMS transaction will costs you P2.50 from your existing pre-paid load. Make sure that you have sufficient load balance and you do the keyword as exact and accurate as possible so that you will avoid Invalid transaction. 

It is also advisable that you update your SSS Contact Information especially your Mobile Number so that you will receive updates from SSS regarding the posting of your contribution, status of benefit application, etc.

Instruction on How to Use SSS Text Service

You first have to register on the SSS Text Service

To register, text SSS REG 

Example: SSS REG 031234567 01/01/80

Then send to 2600 for Globe, Smart and Sun Cellular subscribers. All keywords must be sent to 2600. You will be charged P2.50 per text for Globe and Smart Subscribers. P2.00 for Sun Cellular Subscribers. 

Rates may change without prior notice. You will receive a message from 2600 containing your PIN. After you have received the text confirmation, you may now use the SSS Text Services. 

Save your PIN because you will use it on your later SSS Text Service Transaction.

To know your SSS Contribution, text SSS CONTRIB then send to 2600.

Example: SSS CONTRIB 031234567 2266

To get your SSS Payment Reference Number, text SSS PRN then send to 2600

Example: SSS PRN 031234567 2266 01/01/2019

To submit your Maternity Notification (for Self Employed and voluntary members)
Text SSS MATERNITYNOTIF then send to 2600.

To check your Loan Application Status, simply text SSS LOANSTAT then send to 2600.

To check your Remaining loan balance, simply text SSS LOANBAL then send to 2600.

If you have forgotten your PIN, you can always reset it via text inquiry service, Just text SSS RESET then send to 2600.

To get the list of requirements on SS ID, OFW registration, Self Employed Registration, and change in membership data, key in:
