Kaparkan Falls at Tineg Abra also known as Mulawin Falls

Tineg, officially the Municipality of Tineg (Ilocano: Ili ti Tineg, Filipino: Bayan ng Tineg), is a municipality in the province of Abra in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) of the Philippines.

There are several waterfalls in Tineg, which include the Cabato Falls, Guirem Falls, and Anito Falls.

The Kaparkan falls (aka Kaparcan Falls, Mulawin Falls)
It's a terraces of natural pools of overflowing water that stretched its way down among some trees at the mountainside with a big balete tree. These pools are of different sizes for immersing.

Hot to Get:
From Bangued, take the Abra-Kalinga Road until you reach the Talogtog junction in Dolores. From the Talogtog junction, take the road going to Dolores poblacion. From Dolores poblacion, drive straight ahead to San Juan poblacion. From San Juan poblacion, just follow the San Juan-Tineg road. Take note that there are no road signs along the way. The last concrete road is in San Juan.

Tineg tourism section has an organized tour every weekend using military truck and a customized high-clearance all-terrain jeep. Around 60 people are accommodated each tour. The truck and jeep leave Bangued at 8 AM and leave Tineg at 2 PM. You have 2-4 hours to enjoy Kaparkan falls.
