Vigan, is located on the western coast of the large island of Luzon, facing the South China Sea. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in that it is one of the few Hispanic towns left in the Philippines whose structures have remained intact, and it is well known for its cobblestone streets and a unique architecture that fuses Philippine and Oriental building designs and construction, with colonial Spanish architecture.
Vigan City was officially recognized as one of the New7Wonders Cities on May 2015 together with Beirut, Doha, Durban, Havana, Kuala Lumpur and La Paz.

Air: From Manila to Vigan City
The nearest airport with regular commercial flight is Laoag in Ilocos Norte. Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific fly to Laoag daily from Manila, travel time is an hour. from Laoag to Vigan is only two hours away.

From Diosdado Macapagal International Airport in Clark Field, Pampanga, ride the shuttle or jeepney going to Dau Integrated Bus Terminal. In Dau Terminal, transfer to a bus going to Vigan or Laoag.
